Peak Hour Baby Quilt (Quilt 17)

When I first saw the collection Peak Hour, I thought it was too cute.  I love the cars, trucks, police cars, firetrucks and how they can be fussy cut.  I especially love the newprint ads for the cars.

I ordered a bundle from Hawthorne Threads and it sat.  Then I dragged out my graphing paper and designed a quilt.  Then it waited.  After awhile I sewed up the top and was instantly unsure about it.  I'm sure that never happens to anyone else...

I took forever to sit down and quilt this thing - especially since this little quilt had a deadline of early September.  I finally decided on my zigzag triangle quilting.  Love!

I also love the back for this quilt.  I bought it on sale at my LQS and it was the perfect backing.  I love how cute the cars look on a large scale.

This quilt was destined for a super cute baby of one of my good friends out east.  I hope they enjoy the bright colors of this quilt - its a very fun quilt.
